Figura significativa della post-fotografia, Tina Cosmai esplora
l’esistenza attraverso l’intima osservazione del paesaggio. Le sue
opere sono state esposte in numerose mostre personali e collettive
in Italia e all’estero e pubblicate su importanti riviste di settore.
Il suo lavoro è un’indagine profonda sulla natura, intesa non come
paesaggio idilliaco, ma come entità complessa, fragile e spesso
violata. Il nucleo centrale della sua ricerca è il rapporto conflittuale
tra il mondo naturale e l’intervento umano. L’artista esplora come
l’artificio, la tecnologia, si insinui nel ciclo dell’esistenza.
Le sue opere ricordano le wunderkammer, camere delle meraviglie,
dove elementi naturali vengono isolati, analizzati e ricomposti.
Questa frammentazione serve a sottolineare la precarietà
dell’esistenza in cui l’oggetto naturale, una volta sottratto al suo
habitat, diventa un reperto, una memoria di ciò che è stato o che
rischia di scomparire
A leading figure in post-photography, Tina Cosmai explores
existence through an intimate observation of the landscape. Her
works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions
in Italy and abroad and published in major art magazines.
Her work is a profound investigation of nature, understood not as
an idyllic landscape, but as a complex, fragile, and often
violated entity. The central focus of her research is the conflictual
relationship between the natural world and human intervention. The artist explores how artifice and technology insinuate themselves into the cycle of existence. His works evoke the wunderkammer,
or chambers of wonders, where natural elements are isolated, analyzed, and reassembled. This fragmentation serves to underscore the precariousness of existence, in which the natural object, once
removed from its habitat, becomes an artifact, a memory of what has been or what risks disappearing
