Questo piccolo progetto, nasce da una riflessione sul Cantico delle Creature di San Francesco d'Assisi, che interpella l'uomo a sentire il radicale debito d'amore che ha verso il mondo. E l'albero è sicuramente il simbolo terrestre e celestiale del mondo. Unendo il cielo alla terra, esso si radica sia in alto che in basso, affondando come radici i suoi rami nell'etere, congiungendo così l'universo luminoso della coscienza a quello oscuro e sotterraneo dell'inconscio. Nutrendosi sia dell'immateriale celeste che del materiale terrestre, l'uomo, come l'albero, è individuo parte di un Creato. Spirito e corpo.
